Razor-Spine! XD
This is the shared account between =kubus-sama and =Karioudo, which only features art of our anthromorphic race; the Scorpanidae. More information is up ahead. We thought this account was needed, because we are planning to make a lot of art involving this race, and it's just a lot easier to have one account completely centered around this race, since it's a shared project. It's kind of tiring to keep linking back to each other's page XD So, yeah. Here it is.

There's some kind of meaning behind the name of our account; the (male) scorpanidae have four special fins on their back, which are extra venomnous and pointy. Hence the name 'razor spine'.

The Scorpanidae
So... what exactly áre these scorpanidae I keep hearing about?

Well; it's the anthromorphic (an animal with human characteristics) race that Karioudo and me (Kubus-sama) came up with. Our anthro-race is based on lionfish, of which we think is one of the most beautiful fish around X3; They have a lot of fins, are deadly venomnous and are just plain cool-looking. Aka: perfect for anthro-izing! XD The name is refered from the latin name for lionfish (scorpaenidae).

Our anthros live in random 'houses' in corals underwater, of which the poor can't afford these and just live in the coves. When a scorpanidae is born, he or she is automaticly sorted in one of the four groups: the Guards, who are trained in combat skills, so they can defend the corals whenever they are attacked by random other seacreatures, the 'Servants', who are just there to work for the royal families, like cleaning and such. This group consists of majorly women, since they are too weak to become guards. Then we have the normal citizens; they're just too stupid to be a guard or servant, or they were fired. They just settle in and take on random occupations. And then we have the final group; the royal families. When a scorpanidae is born with special GINDS (Glow-in-the-Dark-Spots), they are 'destined' to become a future king or queen. As you can guess, these GINDS-Scorpanidae are very rarely born.

All scorpanidae have fins on their arms, legs, head and multiple fins on their tail and back. The male scorpanidae have four extra fins on their back, which we call the Razor Spine. These are extra pointy and venomnous. All of the scorpanidae's fins are loaded with deadly poison, but don't worry: they can control their poison, so you won't die when you touch one (unless they hate you and want you to die).

The scorpanidae can have different colors, and they mostly have two basic colors, like blue and white, or red and black. There are all kinds of different lionfish, so there are also a lot of different scorpanidae.

The Characters
Karioudo's character, Sedavé, is one of these GINDS-Scorpis. He posseses these special glow-in-the-dark-spots on his fins, and the other scorpanidae want him to become the new king of their coral reef. However, Sedavé is too stubborn to listen, since he just wants to do whatever he wants and be free, like the others. He even gets a crush on another male scorpanidae, which results in drama, drama and more drama.
So yes, this is a shonen ai story (boy-x-boy love). If that doesn't float your boat, you might wanna go somewhere else ^-^;

Kubus' character, Dokushii, is that one scorpanidae that Sedavé falls in love with. Dokushii has been sent to the 'military', and is busy trying to become a guard. Why? Because. I haven't figured it out yet XD; I mean, I haven't even finished one decent arty of him, let alone his biography x_o; So you'll have to wait for that XD;
